I like to tinker with icons and fonts, so I think I’ll post some of the less disastrous efforts here.
Admin Terminal Icon

My first effort was to customize the existing gnome themed terminal icon for use in a terminal launcher that would launch as the root user. Since it is hazardous for newbies like me to play around as “root” I wanted to make the icon look “dangerous”
Find Files Icon
This is a 48×48 size png image file for my gnome-search-tool application launcher in Ubuntu and my second icon made using Inkscape (first icon of my own design).
Soda Air Font
This first font was based on Arial using rounded corners and a halftone fade.
